Ideas?So this might be out of the scope of inshore fishing, but do you guys have any tips on the best rig for red snapper? The times that I have been out via charter I notice they usually rig a Carolina rig of sorts. I was wondering would a heavy drop shot rig work as well in this situation?

Yea I actually have a trip planned for the chandelier Island coming up. Also I am itching to get it out to Grand Isle to go for some mangrove snapper

Whoops almost forgot to add what I am running. I have a 2017 Bad Cats 22ft. Just got this last August (prior to this I was kayak fishing mainly) and I am still working to get a good trip put together. I have had a couple of outings just the wrong days (tides not right ; to rough ect). It doesn’t help that my week is 100% packed with freaking working and the weekends are the only time I get to wet a line. We will get there though and I 100% appreciate the content as I know it is increasing my knowledge so I can maximize my time on the water.
