First time in Lafitte. I didn’t cover much water today, but going to start spending time in places outside of my Delacroix bubble. It was a nice change of scenery.

Thanks for the report. I’m leaning towards Delacroix Wednesday, but you gave me something to think about. Just don’t think I want to try a new area with the fog that’s predicted.

Everything @will-grand said. I’ve been finding the trout further inside. Lake Amadee Tide Lines and birds. Lake John, drift until you find them or fish the tide lines.

Man…. I wish I had all day to make the Venice trip. I know it’s the best option, but my window isn’t that long. It’s either grind the suck fest in Lafitte or Plan Redfish in Delacroix. Boats getting wet one way or another so it won’t be a “bad” day. I’ll post the aftermath..

Thanks for the report. I may try Lafitte for the first time Saturday as I’m hoping the water will be falling earlier and the East wind should help. My question is after I try and chase down trout, any area you recommend for Reds? I know nothing about the area. 😂 thanks
