Not much. Need to get a report put together. Short story, trolling motor batteries were pretty much dead (think they are bad). So that limited where I could fish. Current in the MRGO was to much and they wouldn’t hold. Bounced around the marsh and caught 4 trout in stump lagoon. Couldn’t execute the plan at all.

I’ll be in hopedale tomorrow morning. I’m going to work my way south down the MRGO ( timelines, coves and points) and fish the oysters after as well. If I find them, I’ll give you a shout to bring little man over. 504-615-1009

Thanks for all the feedback. Going to make a few changes. I had a trip around the same time last year with similar conditions I will use too. Will post a report after the trip.

I see a lot of the same fish in those photos. You aren’t fooling me. 😂. Great report man. Hope the back feels better. Good news is, back doesn’t hurt when you’re catching fish.

Thanks for the report. I’m leaving the house now and heading that way. I’ll be out of town for the next four weeks so it’s now or never.

Tuesday and Wednesday are prime days for the Pen and Michaud canal. I will be taking a morning off one of those days to give it a go.

Chartreuse beetle it was. Caught 2-1 to the Marker 54. That is the go to in Lake Decade. I thought jigging might produce some bigger trout, but it appears they never made it in this year.

Helluva a day. I should have ran over to the ICW earlier, instead of playing with the undersized trout.

Brotha. Was that you that posted the pic on the Rigolet’s page. 😂. They are convinced I was undercover.

Slip cork might be the ticket. I’ve done it a few times and it never crossed my mind. Thanks

Man. Hell of a report. I live so close to the south shore of the lake and neglect it for some reason. You have me reconsidering my plans going forward. Thanks again.

Thanks for the report. I had one of those days a couple weeks ago. My problem is I will know it’s not a good day to go, but if it’s my only day, I’m going.

Less traffic than bait inc and they have a cleaning table. I go there for those two reasons. If you want live bait they have it too.

Not too bad. Water was low last time out. I keep a pair of ankle boots in the truck for solo launching. That’s all you will need. I’m heading back out there Thursday as the cold front will have settled and most folks will be too hung over to fish. Should be a good day with the falling tide as well.
