Man you beat me to it! I’m going to be doing the same thing for a trip I’m planning for Nov 6th. I am also curious about that route through Grand Pass.

If you look at the imagery from 1/23/24, it looks to have a pretty large boat going through it. So maybe?

I wish I could give you more advice for the orange route (Williams Pass) because I had that route in my plans for last years trip but I got to nervous and didn’t go down it. I did however, spot lock and fish the mouth of Williams Pass and landed several hammers.

My apologies for the lack of advise for the routes.

Good luck and have a safe trip!

Yeah I agree, I believe the trout have moved in a little closer. Still did pretty good though! Great report, thank you!

The tide isn’t predicted to fall at Chef Pass until around 1 PM 10/27. The tide at Shell Beach is predicted to start falling around 10 AM tomorrow. With the wind pretty much staying below ~5 mph tomorrow I would launch around 8 – 10 AM tomorrow morning at (whichever launch you feel is best) and head straight to East Biloxi Marsh and fish outlets, points, passes, and Oyster reefs. If you just want to stay in the Lake, I would still head to Bayou Biloxi and fish all the outlets from there down to St Malo, working my way to the Intracoastal fishing the outlets of the MRGO (Martello Castle). Once the you reach the Intracoastal you can work your way back up to your launch. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Yes sir, number #3 is what I meant. You actually told me the name of that at the seminar you did in Covington, I just couldn’t remember the name.

I was actually going to try to get to that same spot you have in your imagery. I had to use imagery from 9/21 when plotting the route. Very much silted in now.

It wasn’t really ripping out per say, but it was definitely moving pretty good.

I just read your report and you didn’t do so bad! My apologies for not responding to it. I actually had spots in the Biloxi Marsh picked out for this fishing trip but decided to go against it. I had my buddies dad with us and I didn’t want to bounce around like a mad man for his first time fishing with me. Had we not got on them fishing the first few spots I would have bounced around though.

Next Monday’s wind conditions looks pretty tough with winds predicted to be ~13mph from the SE / ESE. The Lee side of the land should be doable but tide may not be as good as predicted because of the high ESE winds that Sunday prior to your trip.
