I’m guessing sometime early morning 9th -10th time frame when water levels should be at its lowest. With winds predicted to start coming from the north Tuesday the 7th and temps dropping for the “Artic Blast”. I’m predicting that the freezing temps along with the strong north winds will bring the water levels below normal and cause the reds to run out of the marsh seeking deeper water. My area of prediction is Hopedale / Shell beach area.

I was just thinking about something like this as well. A fishing tournament would be fun. No reward or anything like that but just for fun. Then we can all hangout at the Marina like Capt. Devin mentioned. If I’m off I’m in!!

I looked really hard at Xpress before I went with Avid but what convinced me to go with Avid was a few things. I really loved the design of the gunnel, its wide an spacious, having an insulated fish box, and the pad hull design. Also, I couldn’t tell you how many people just couldn’t believe that it was an aluminum boat. The real cherry on top though, in my opinion, is the customer service. This is the second time I’ve had to get something fixed by them and they have been second to none. They made a customer for life with me if they maintain that kind of customer service.

Rangers are super nice boats. I really like them as well. My only complaint I have about my boat is the lack of storage area and low fuel capacity. Avid has since updated that with the new 2025 Gen 2 hull with more storage and fuel capacity. I currently have the Gen 1 hull, so they are going to switch mine out to the new Gen 2. I’m just blown away by their customer service.

Yes sir! Avid is replacing my entire hull with a new 2025 model. It is scheduled to be built Jan 27th and be shipped back down to me a week after. So honestly, I really cant complain about that.
