It looks like he’s been catching and I’d bet dollars to donuts that he’s been catching in The Cove or Shark Bayou. I don’t think he’s running out into V-Bay or going to the oyster reefs south of Marsh Island.
After that, I would search for a Facebook group for Cypremort Point and check reports there. I would look but I don’t have Facebook. The above link is just something I found from my notes in years past.
After that, trailer your boat to Lake Decade. It’s just as far as I drive anywhere else. A lot of folks perceive that I live next to where I fish and that things must be easy for me. Hell no. My ride back from the last Venice trip was 3.5 hours.
Dularge was a cool 2.5, Pointe a la Hache is about 1.5, Grand Isle 2.5 and sometimes more depending on NOLA traffic. But nobody here remembers the drive, they just remember the awesome fishing reports and YouTube videos.
