    Oh man! One of those days, we’ve all had them. Those types of days are the ones where only the guides and long term fishermen of Delacroix come back with fish. When that wind is ripping and the tide is ripping and it’s been that way for a few days, that water gets like chocolate and it’s just a fight. I’m using my sonar to keep finding more and more deeper holes because I think I days like that the fish go deeper. That’s my theory anyway. I plan on fishing more Hopedale as winter comes in, because I remember how low the water gets in Delacroix during the winter. I’m not giving up on Delacroix, I’ll put my boat at Sweetwater starting in March again, but I’m going fish Venice and Hopedale more this winter than Delacroix.
