Devin, what gear ratio reels are you using for your jigging set ups ? & Do you feel like it has an effect on catching fish?

Something faster like a 7:1 or 8:1 gear ratio. This is key because cranking power is a non-issue, and being able to quickly take up slack is.

Don’t forget reel size! A 100 size reel or small (70 or 50) is preferred.
