Another issue you’re going to have is if your Garmin’s memory is full or close to it you won’t be able to add tracks that you create in GED plus the unit will truncate long names and tracks. Additionally, when creating routes in GED keep them super simple as in point by point vs dragging the line creating hundreds of points.
