You really don’t need to anchor. You probably shouldn’t. I fished the Trestles for years without spot lock. Chas Champagne doesn’t use spot lock, either. If anything, you want to keep moving. The fish are more likely than not gonna be spread out. Using an anchor at the Trestles is like dumping out the contents of a burrito into a hotdog bun.
But if you absolutely just had to anchor at the Trestles you can make a wedge of wood to stick into the crevice above each piling. It was either Kreeger or Vandeborre I learned that from.
