While most people were fishing the gate Wednesday the 4th (4-8 boats wow) on the east and a few on west, there were a few along the wall and 3 or 4 up on the flat. I pecked around on the flat and the wall after the rocks. You never know as I didn’t have binos(weirdo) or talk to anybody but didn’t seem like enough to stick around for me that day. Fishing that flat feels foreign to me as naturally I like seeing things visual like a wall, rocks, pilings, birds etc. I do admit my weak point is fishing areas that I don’t have a land marker to throw at. Kind of like having your favorite confidence bait you can’t put down even know they might bite something else better. Fishing slicks in Venice is similar but you at least have a slick to look for! 2025 is to find fish in more foreign ways. I look forward to your video, they do say seeing is believing.
