Bought a 2017 Sportsman Masters 207 with a 150 Yama with 130hr last August right in your price range. My F150 pulls it with no problem, but is mostly stays in a slip. I think a 21ft is more than enough and in my family…super perfect for taking kids. I had a 19ft bay boat before it and for some reason this feels much more than just 2ft longer. I think the beam length is important also as there is a big difference between 7-8ft.
I totally agree about storage. I plan for everything and put a lot of stuff in the compartments. I go across Lake P and Lake B often and never take too hard of a beating when those swells pop up.
If buying from another person, I would ask for receipts or some type of proof that its been serviced yearly
