Keep in mind that the tide will be falling harder with the higher tide range. 10/2 was a neap tide day, today it’s not. It’s a 1.3ft falling IIRC, and while the predicted wind will mute it to a degree, you will still have falling water somewhere. If I had it yesterday then you definitely had it today.
I hope you did well despite the wind, I know it’s tough fishing in that.
