Hopefully the tide will be falling next time you go. I would begin looking really hard at Mud Lake. The sitting/diving birds will be a dead giveaway.
After that, I’d give the grass beds between the Hwy 11 and Trestles on the south shore a try. Those can be really good this time of year.
