I know that Facebook really messes with my attention residue and can be a timesuck for unproductive doom scrolling. I don’t like that or the way it makes me feel, so I’m happy to be free of it.
I for sure caught a limit of trout that day but the sharks only allowed me to keep 8
That sounds about right for August.
Before The Freshening we put up with those things all the time in Breton Sound. Bonnet heads and blacktips tearing up trout before you could get them in the boat. You’d hook a trout, see it fighting in the water then watch it explode on the face of a shark. Very annoying. lol

Excellent execution. *chef’s kiss* It sounds like you picked up the tail end of a bite from the second trip and went straight out there to get it when it was better.

And even though these are “late”, they’re really not. It’s about the patterns, the general intel and *surprise surprise* it will be June and July again next year (and the years after that) and this report will help folks find and catch fish.
