LAFB Elite App is coming soon! (or try this bandaid)

The title pretty much says it all.

I don’t want to put a hard date on it, but the ball is moving to get LAFB Elite onto an app. I know that will make life easier for a lot of members who primarily experience the Internet through their phones.

Now, some of us are in a different canoe. I do pretty much everything on the Internet via a desktop computer. The 27″ screen, mouse and full keyboard are just where it’s at.

That and things I use for fishing — such as Humminbird PC, GPS Babel or Google Earth Desktop — are only had on a desktop computer.

At the end of the day, you really need to get on a desktop. It’s just a far more powerful tool.

But it’s 2024 and having an app sure would be handy dandy! Right? So that’s going to get done.

Or try this bandaid for now….

However, in the meantime, if you are looking for a quick bandaid that puts LAFB Elite on your phone, then I suggest using your phone’s browser and logging in like you normally would on a computer. The site is responsive and functions the same as an app.

And you can take it one step further and put LAFB Elite on your phone’s home screen, like what you see below:

When will the LAFB Elite App come out?

Now, I’ve never done an app before.

I have no experience with building apps (and probably know just enough to f*%k it up) so I am hiring professionals to do this for us.

This could be done in a week, it could be done in a few months. I just don’t know.

But it is something that will happen for LAFB Elite’s members, and I am very much excited for it!
